Take a Word Challenge - MOON

I love collage - especially the ones that don't make a lot of sense!  This is my illustration of the song "It's only a paper moon".  The cardboard was Googled, waves by Ruth Davis of E-scape and Scrap, paper doll by Joanne Brisebois with face painted by me.  I also painted the moon and made the "muslin tree" from net pieces.

Very fun collage! That cardboard sea is perfect! It looks like that paper doll is really enjoying the paper moon.

Your piece illustrates the song beautifully Marie. Apart from everything you made, including the lovely face, I love that palm tree. Terrific all round! xx

I don't know what hits my eye first : the quirky moon, the dramatic colours, your amazing painted lady or the 'muslin tree' .. but suffice to say that every tiny bit of this collage blows me away, Marie.

A standing ovation is wending its way from Yorkshire.
