Three Muses Challenge - Silhouettes

This is an original work, background and silhouettes by me.  I used a digital abstract painting of mine to fill the silhouette shapes.  I repeated the shapes by filling with black.

Three Muses Challenge - WORD

This week Ann has asked us to choose one word and illustrate it in journal page form.  My word is MELANCHOLY.  The sad clown was painted by me.  The background and curtain are by Lorie Davison at Scrapbookgraphics.

Take a Word Challenge - HATS-N-THINGS

I found this lovely lady on the web.  I believe the picture is copyright free.  She was originally black and white but has now been given a new and colorful life.  I think the fish makes a very fetching hat!!  We all believe at some time of our lives that we are living in a fish bowl and everyone knows our business so that is why she has some scaled and bubbly friends.
Background Itkupilli, fish by January (both at Deviant Scraps).

Three Muses Challenge - Still Life

This week's theme is to create a STILL LIFE collage.  The background is made from an old dictionary page and the boots are from Marta van Eck at Deviant Scraps.

Take a Word Challenge - MOON

I love collage - especially the ones that don't make a lot of sense!  This is my illustration of the song "It's only a paper moon".  The cardboard was Googled, waves by Ruth Davis of E-scape and Scrap, paper doll by Joanne Brisebois with face painted by me.  I also painted the moon and made the "muslin tree" from net pieces.

The Three Muses Challenge - Colour me happy - Towards 2014

To explain this picture, I imagined everyone being sucked into an unknown void that is 2014, hoping that everything is good on the other side.
Thanks to Ann for her colour challenge.  The background is by Ztampf (hued and saturated), the "dolls" are by Beth Rimmer and the geometric pattern is a Photoshop brush.
May I take this opportunity to wish all our Blog friends a very happy, peaceful and prosperous New Year.
