Take a Word Challenge - BEAUTIFUL

What could be more graceful and beautiful than ballerinas?  I am a fan of Degas and his series of paintings from the world of ballet so didn't have to search very far for inspiration.
The three dancers are from (coloured and altered).  The background is by Lorie Davison and the aged overlay by Berna Datema.  The ghostly image of Degas was Googled.

Three Muses Challenge - Blue Moos

Moos are challenging when using the digital methods but I can't imagine how difficult it must be to make a mixed media one by hand.  Even though the Moos above have been enlarged for display they were created in the correct format.  The images are from the Graphics Fairy (coloured from original black and white, pen and ink drawings).  Everything else is from Createwings Designs at Scrap Orchard.  Thanks to Ann (Taluula) for a challenging challenge!!

This week our theme word is SEA.  I have chosen a vintage bathing beauty at the seaside with the catch of the day.
The image is a Flickr-free-to-use coloured from original black and white.  The background and sun are by Fiddlette, the waves by Ruth Davis, the fish from Lorie Davison and the net was Googled.

Three Muses Challenge - The Written Word

The image is a Flickr-free-to-use and from a collection of black and white photos of actress and silent movie star, Maude Fealy.  I made a Photoshop brush of Maude's face, converted black and white to colour and laid the brush over a background by Kubivet.  The word overlay is by Createwings Designs at Scrap Orchard.
