Sunday Postcard Art - Art Journal Postcard

I love art journals and I so admire the mixed media artists who create the wonderful artwork.  It's fun to try to do it in digital art but I am the first one to admit that it's not quite the same (to state the obvious).
I painted the lady in artrage and scanned the dictionary definition of FATE and cut and pasted it. I also painted the fringe at the top.  Background and splatters by Creativewings Designs.  Paper flowers by Birgit Kerr.

  1. A wonderful page - and who knew brown could look so good! (my school uniform was brown, which probably explains my comment lol).

  2. This is beautifully done, Marie! I too love the colors you've used, subtle but warm, dramatic and very effective.

  5. I´ve done both digital and physical art journal pages, but I prefer the "real stuff", too. But as the process of making the page is what it´s all about, they both help to let loose of those everyday feelings and worries ...
