"Sweet Vi-oh-lets" is an old song with play-on-word lyrics that are very funny. It was originally sung by Dinah Shore. I have included the chorus only because the song goes on forever. A real moldy oldy.
The lady covered all over in violets is my own creation. The violets and background were Googled.

Oh wow--she is just gorgeous!! I wondered what had happened to this post the other day. Glad you have it back up!
love the color her!!!
Just stunning!
Marie I am laughing out loud right now because "Sweet Violets" was the song my culture genteel self was considering before I chose "Sonnet" because I thought that reading it would be more confusing then funny. So you see my dear we are both a couple of yobbos...so glad we found each other.
Your wonderfully detailed postcard is a masterpiece as usual...I love her sweet face just beautiful.
