Take a Word - Blue

OK, I admit it - my favourite colour is blue.  The blue lady is actually a stone angel in a cemetery.  All other bits and pieces (backgrounds, stitching and overlays) are by Berna Datema at Scrapbookgraphics.  The lines are from a great old song.

  3. Blue, the color in the spectrum between cyan and violet. I love it too Marie but strangely I rarely use it in my work.

  4. Simply a most elegant piece, Marie! I love the whole composition. BTW, I have been trying to find ways to enlarge my pics. There's some direction about html, but I've nearly blown up the blog twice, so I'm trying with little luck! I hope all is well with you!

  9. I love the frame within a frame, Marie. I'm smiling to see everyone refer to the "gold", and I was going to comment on the uniqueness of the use of rust! I guess it must have something to do with my age. Anyway, gold or rust, it adds a punch to this absolutely gorgeous stone angel piece. Beautiful to behold!

  10. Marie, may I congratulate you on the depth you have achieved in this one. Although the second layer and stitches are build a collage effect, you lovely blue angels seems as though she is being viewed through a window. Not sure if if that makes sense, BUT one this is, it is a masterpiece.
