Sunday Postcard- Let it snow

I have absolutely no experience of snow, except for a few days in the Canadian Rockies some years ago but on a day when the forecast is for 38 deg C (100 deg F) it is a very nice thought.
The image, altered and overpainted by me, is a Flickr-free-to-use. The little girl seems to be ready to take her coat off in spite of the cold. The background is by SussiM, the snowy tree by Lily of AfterFiveDesigns, the alphabet by Little Dreamer and the snowflakes by Ruth Davis of E-scape and Scrap.

  5. She's adorable Marie! 38 C sounds a tad too hot for my liking. Although I'll be singing a different tune when it's in the -6 C range here.

  7. Awesome, Marie. I love everything about this darling postcard from the unusual font to the fantastic image and all the bright colors. Thanks for your comments on my blue and white Christmas colors. I can't really imagine Christmas in summertime since traditionally we up this way usually think snow in December. But Santa does get around and even to Oz, I hear.

  8. What a wonderful card, Marie...for me it seem so strange to find someone unfamiliar with snow when we always have so much in our area of Canada...it is truly beautiful but sorrowfully it is also terribly cold for the most part. I always thought Australia had snow as well. Hugs, Gayle.

  18. Such a sweet card! I'm glad you got to experience snow once at least. I love snow...until there has been so much that I'm sick of it for the season! But I'm always ready for the first snow the next winter. It's so lovely floating down to the earth in its quiet way. ~Lori
