Theme Thursday - Santa

This week's theme is "Santa". Christmas in Australia is vastly different to Christmas in the northern hemisphere. I have painted my own Santa (and cushion). All other bits and pieces have been Googled and altered a little.

Congratulations on the opening of a new and exciting challenge. Thanks so much for the beautiful image. How could one go wrong with this?

Bits and pieces by Lorie Davison, Scrapbookgraphics.

I wasn't sure what we are celebrating so I chose "generic". (We don't have Thanksgiving Day in Australia).

Sunday Postcard - The Joker

My Joker is an original except for his hands (which I do badly) from my computer software. He is a wee bit scary but I did enjoy drawing him. Guess I got a bit carried away.

Gothic Arches - Silhouettes

Nice challenge. I painted the background (inside template) and added a digital stamp by Katie Pertiet (Designer Digitals). The stars are by Jofia Devoe who also designed the paper background surrounding the template.

Sunday Postcard - Hats

Great challenge. For me it was a chance to use some of my own photos of flowers. I used a hat by Kubivet (freebie at Kubivet's blog) which I covered with the flower photos.

The image is from a Maya collage sheet (Scrapbookgraphics). Frame stamp by Katie Pertiet at Designer Digitals. Background paper freebie by Irene Alexeeva.

Mixed Media Monday - Autumn

Love those rich autumnal tones. I have to play this by ear because, of course, it is spring down here in the southern hemisphere. Added to that, I live in an evergreen world where the leaves don't change colour and fall.
The lady in question was wearing very little so I have added some lace to cover her assets. I am not sure where the image comes from. I have had it in my folders for a long time. The papers and tag frame are from the wonderful and generous Kubivet who regularly posts her original and scrumptious freebies on her blog.
